Illustrated Floral Stationery for a Corporate Event at Garden Museum

At the end of last year I was approached by the Garden Museum to create some custom illustrated invitations for their wedding supplier showcase in February, so a few weeks ago I got to join them for the evening at From Frost to Flower.

The venue is truly unlike any other; an incredible medieval church that was renovated in the 1970s to include striking, minimalist elements that work to bring the outside in. It is a rare blend of classicism & modernism creating an exciting versatility that lends itself well to either corporate events or weddings. As you enter the church you are met with a glass wall with a doorway out into an enclosed garden that is home to several of the museum’s tombs. Lit in blue to create an incredible wintry effect, in contrast to the warm tones & Spring floral installations by Blooming Haus inside.

As we proceeded into the main hall we were serenaded by a live violinist & pianist from Prelude Entertainment playing on the stage opposite a draped wall that was illuminated with a reel of projected seasonal visuals by Colour Sound Experiment - daffodils bloomed, swans stretched, & blossoms opened to greet the new season.

Beneath it, a bar serving a delightful range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic seasonal cocktails, including an incredible blood orange spritz. In addition to the cocktails, SPOOK provided a varied range of both sweet & savoury canapés throughout the night, from crab tartelettes to mango macarons.

Throughout the night the brilliant Claire from Bespoke Social Solutions was capturing content of every detail, from guest reactions to speeches.
