Wedding Stationery for a Styled Shoot at Somerset House

In August we worked on a styled wedding shoot at the iconic Somerset House, situated in the very heart of London. Working with a brilliant team brought together by Rose Francis Events, we created an intimate styled wedding setting to showcase this historic venue, which is ideal for couples who share a passion for the arts.

Arch invitations were die-cut to shape to reflect the domed roof of Somerset House, & of course included a venue illustration. These were printed on luxury ivory card stock, & hand edged with silver leaf.

Guests were welcomed to the ceremony with a bespoke fabric banner in sheer tulle & navy ribbon, with a matching order of the day sign.

Mirror Mirror Bridal London provided several exquisite dresses in a rage of styles, including a short & slinky white lace, & a black evening dress for cocktail hour.

We created a series of bespoke mediterranean inspired illustrations, based off of the embroidery work created for the napkins by Chloe Stewart Collective, featuring across the printed stationery suite & hand finished fabric welcome sign & order of the day banner.

Hand silver-leafed oyster shells were customised with enamel calligraphy of each guest’s name, in line with the theme of mediterranean summers, resting on top of paper menus for the wedding breakfast, with sumptuous catering by Lettice Events.

To finish the meal, each guest was presented with a personal sized mini wedding cake, topped with a cherry & gold leaf.

As the evening drew to a close, cocktail hour began, complete with an incredible 5ft showstopper cake from By Yevnig, a dessert table bursting with cannoli, chocolate coated strawberries, & a platter of fresh seasonal fruit.
