Es Devlin Inspired Stationery for the Design Museum

We had the privilege of creating bespoke stationery for a showcase event at London’s Design Museum, inspired by Other Worlds, a retrospective of the work of multimedia artist Es Devlin. Working with an incredible team of suppliers, who wove elements from the exhibition into every detail of the evening, from the decor to the desserts, which featured edible prints of the cover of the exhibition book; An Atlas of Es Devlin. Working with a palette of bold colours, graphic geometry, & mirror finishes, each element became a world within worlds.

Guests found their tables at a 7 screen array, in an auditorium bathed in its pink & red glow. The table scapes were completed with acrylic mirror table numbers with black vinyl details, in the brand font, completed with minimal black metal stands.

We created hand-bonded & finished menu place cards, with an abstract patterned vellum layer overlaid onto mirror finish cardstock, based off of Devlin’s Come Home Again, one of the exhibition’s central pieces. Each one included the guest’s name & custom menu variations for dietary requirements.
